Translating your site
There are two separate translation systems, and it is worth knowing which one you are using.
Platform language
The Reocities interface itself (dashboard, browse, file manager) is available in a number of languages. This setting changes what you see while working, and has no effect on your published site.
Visitor translation
Separately, you can enable translation of your own site for visitors. When it is on, a small widget lets a reader switch languages, and your page text is translated for them. You choose which languages to offer in your site settings.
Machine translation is rough. It works well enough for letting someone read your writing, and badly for jokes, wordplay and deliberate voice. If a page matters, a hand-written translation will always read better.
